Green Day at Old Trafford

Catching up with the summer. Read on for a video and photographs taken at the Green Day gig in Manchester on 21 June.

I spent almost the entirety of my first year at university listening to Dookie by Green Day, Basket Case especially. Those that had the misfortune to live with me are probably sick of hearing it to this day. So when the cool kids gave me the opportunity to tag along to the Green Day gig in Manchester on 21 June, I couldn't resist.

Basket Case: Video

Here are some photos that I took during the evening out with Vickie and Rhiannon, including of an amazing double rainbow over the stadium.

So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable
But in the end, it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
